We aim to create movies, TV shows, and other media arts that can reflect the definition of the word: Cartus. This word is meant to encompass what it truly means to be a hero. We strive for excellence, grit, and initiative within our teams, encouraging participation in order to learn key components of the film-making process, as well as individual goals set in place to help work towards the career you desire.

Positions Available:

Creative Board:

Actors
  • Creating and/or embodying a unique character within the film
  • Can have major or minor roles
  • Both on-screen and voice acting options are available
Artists
  • Creating conceptual designs inspired by the ongoing project
  • Storyboarding
  • Expert on character/environmental design
  • Creating posters, splash-art, props, clothes, and other art for the project
Musicians
  • Writes and/or performs music compositions
  • Experts in orchestrating mood and thematic undertones using music
Writers
  • Writing and/or editing scripts for teams to read and follow.
  • Creating and developing an entertaining story in written form
  • Can have major or minor roles

Digital Engineering:

Cinematographers
  • Expert on camera operation, scene development, and coordination of equipment
  • Reviews scenes with director to ensure proper development
  • Requests size of team and equipment needed
  • Involved mainly in the production phase
Film Editors
  • Applies effects, refines scenes, and puts the pieces of the project together
  • Involved mainly in post-production phase
  • Requests for do-overs, fixing mistakes, and reviewing the finalized project
  • Focuses on specific scenes, effects, and reduces the workload by doing detailed work
Sound Engineers
  • Creates folly and miscellaneous sounds throughout the project
  • Experts in sound design and mixing

Production:

Field Operators
  • On-sight project work, dealing with technical problems and solutions
  • Handles specialized equipment when needed
  • Holds boom mics, carries extra equipment, and manages overall inventory
  • Involved solely in production phase
  • Generic entry-level job
Assistant Productors
  • The extended eyes, ears, and mouth for the producer, learning and developing skills
  • Co-leader of the project, all departments answer to producers and APs
  • Involved throughout the project, macro-managing and overseeing development
  • Secures resources, coordinates cross-departments, and being a versatile asset to assist any department in need
Accountants
  • Manages assets, liabilities, and overall money flow
  • Cost projections, resource management, and logistics
  • Creates project budgets
Scouts
  • Searching outside the company for potential assets (actors, locations, etc.)
  • Acquires permissions, resources, and requests project budgets
  • Recruiting talent, more employees, and overall community outreach
Media Manager
  • Manager of multiple online profiles and websites
  • Focuses on online community involvement
  • Requests for required media (trailers, posters, etc.)
  • Posts consistent content, and handles marketing
